Geospatial Intelligence Standards Working Group (GWG)
DESCRIPTION:
The Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Standards Working Group (GWG) is a working group under the US Department of Defense (DoD) Information Technology (IT) Standards Committee (ITSC). The GWG serves as a US DoD, Intelligence Community (IC), Federal, and Civil community based forum to advocate for IT standards and standardization activities related to GEOINT, concentrating standards and standardization activities related to enabling interoperability in net- and data-centric environments.

Multilateral Interoperability Programme (MIP)
NATO
DESCRIPTION: NATO Consultation, Command and Control Agency (NC3A):
The main area of coordination with DGIWG is with the Bi-SC AIS Core Capability Geographic Services Project. The Bi-Strategic Commands Automated Information Systems (Bi-SC AIS) initiative sets out to achieve architectural convergence and management harmonization in all AIS services within the main systems of two strategic commands, Automated Command and Control Information System of Allied Command Europe (ACE ACCIS) and the Maritime Command and Control Information System (MCCIS) of Allied Command Atlantic (ACLANT).
Interservice Geospatial Working Group (IGeoWG):
The role of this working group is to progress standardization and/or interoperability in military geospatial matters to order to improve the effectiveness of NATO forces.
Geospatial Maritime Working Group (GMWG):
This group is responsible for the Additional Military Layers initiative to add supplementary information to nautical charts.
Joint Capabilities Group Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (JCGISR):
This group prepares and publishes standards and implementation practices to allow interoperability within NATO systems and between NATO and national systems. This group was formally known as NATO Air Group IV.
