NATO Coordination & Collaboration

NATO Consultation, Command and Control Agency (NC3A)

The main area of coordination with DGIWG is with the Bi-SC AIS Core Capability Geographic Services Project. The Bi-Strategic Commands Automated Information Systems (Bi-SC AIS) initiative sets out to achieve architectural convergence and management harmonization in all AIS services within the main systems of two strategic commands, Automated Command and Control Information System of Allied Command Europe (ACE ACCIS) and the Maritime Command and Control Information System (MCCIS) of Allied Command Atlantic (ACLANT).

Interservice Geospatial Working Group (IGeoWG)

The role of this working group is to progress standardization and/or interoperability in military geospatial matters to order to improve the effectiveness of NATO forces.

Geospatial Maritime Working Group

This group is responsible for the Additional Military Layers initiative to add supplementary information to nautical charts.

Joint ISR Capability Group

This group develops standards (NATO STANAGS) to allow interoperability of NATO and NATO national intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) systems. This group was formally known as NATO Air Group IV.
