DGIWG produces two outputs, Documents and Registers.
Documents may be:
Standards and Implementation Profiles that define information components that may be used to describe elements of geospatial information in a military environment.
Technical Reports that provide support information and are a reporting mechanism to facilitate strategies.
Product Specifications developed by developed by nations under multi-lateral co-production agreements based on DGIWG standards.
Handbooks and Guides provide instruction on implementation of standards and product specificaitons.
Management Documents such as policy, directives and programme of work documents.
Historical Documents, such as the Digital Geographic Information Exchange Standard (DIGEST), that are no longer maintained by DGIWG.
